Top Ten Gay Bars in the State of West Virginia 2006

10. Leading off at Number Ten is The New Windmill in Wheeling, Wva. A solid foundation and a great new edition to the gay scene. Now providing the area with great entertainment and place to call your own.
9.  At number nine is a new bar to the scene. Princeton's very own Birds of a Feather. This new nightclub has the makings of a nightclub extraordinare. While the entertainment is great, the patrons need to address the fact that it takes your attendance to keep a place running. So be sure to stand by your home town bars. 
8. At number eight is Weezies, another great club in Morgantown, West Virginia. While it caters more to the womens crowd or lesbian population. It has attracted many male patrons because of the classy employees and the great entertainment they provide. We welcome Weezie and express our thanks for making another great edition to the night life in Morgantown, Wva.
7. This club has sprung itself up the countdown and continues to entertain the town of Huntington offering the community a great place to visit. While they entertain all, the patrons continue to flood the doors on the weekends.
6. At number six is Utopia,  also out of Parkersburg, West Virginia. A internationally known female impersonator, Amanda Love went out on here own to create this gay bar for the community to enjoy. With big crowds on the weekend and a future just starting . A must see in Parkersburg.
5. At number five is a sure favorite for bears and leather men, The Tap Room has been home to Bear meetings , leather events, and most of all just some of Charlestons best nighttime entertainment. 60 Years and running!!!!
4. At number four, is a gay bar right out of Charleston, Wva. Traxx!!! This classy yet more subdued club has some real quality patrons and offers an enjoyable time to anyone who comes out.
3. At number three is a crowd pleaser. A gay bar with much respect and most of all, with the community around it. THE STONEWALL..... This club has been in existence for over 12 years, and it offers the people a place to come to have a good time in a safe atmosphere. They try to accomodate everyone and cater to what their patrons want.
It offers to the community, several events that are being planned now, that will bring gay awareness . They want the people in the area to have a sense of community, not only a great night life.
The owners are Bob Williamson, Keith Combs, and Eric Gorczyca. Sean Franz/Hellen Hart is also a big part of the management team as show director.
They have some of the finest bartenders around in Harrison, Amanda, Mike, and Robert. Their DJ is Osiris. As for cast queens, we have Coko Coture,Priscilla Divine, and Babi Vegas.
They put a lot of work into this not only being a profitable business, but one that the community feels they are a part of. They listen to what you want and try to give it to you. They make sure their main goal is to make everyone who comes through its doors to have a fabulous time. They want you to not only feel that its a great place to party at, but also as your own place. The STONEWALL is to be congratulated for its great work as one of the very best....
 
2. The number two club from the state of West Virginia hails out of Morgantown, West Virginia, VICE VERSA. This nightclub offers the community fine entertainment with their great dance floor, and the drag and adult entertainers, it invites into it. This club offers a little bit of everything to all genres. 
They have said time and time again, They want to bring the community together and offer us the bar of the future as well as the past.. 
1. After 18 months, we have a new number one night club in the state, THE BROADWAY.
A big supporter and contributor to CAN and the number one club in Wva as of November 8th, 2006.
It has to be said, that the best music and dance party comes from the capital city known as Charleston. They have some of the best talent at the Broadway with Michelle St. James, Synamon, and Bridget Nickles and many more.
This club has topped the charts and wowed the crowds. Congratulations for being the Best Nightclub in West Virginia.
