Tim and I have been discussing how much we missed our "family" from the days at the Shamrock and Miss Helen's Shamrock Lounge. After closing doors in 2001, we have lost touch with many of you!
Thus, we will hold a SHAMROCK REUNION picnic at Glenwood Park Lake Recreation Area on Route 20 between Princeton and Bluewell at Shelter #4 from 2-?? on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, rain or shine.
We ask that you bring a covered dish or two and a non-alcoholic beverage to share with those in attendance. We will furnish the shelter, the paper plates, cups, ice, and eating utensils.
We do ask that you respect Glenwood's no alcohol policy and our "no drama" policy.
This picnic is open to Helen's former customers, our former customers, and whatever "family" members want to attend. We ask that you let people know about this. Forward as necessary.....call your friends...... Our "family" is long overdue to get back together in Miss Helen's honor.
Speaking of Miss Helen, do you realize that she still doesn't have a tombstone? We will be taking donations to put toward putting a tombstone--but never the momument fitting for the pioneer who gave us a place to go from 1964-2001--at this event.
