Progression is one thing we seem to do best at WV Queer News. It seems another day doesn't go by without something new opening up for us. With that being said, we are about to embark on a brand new project that will air the first week in March, right before the Terry Awards and Ms WVQN Pageant. I will get into that more over the next couple of weeks when I know everything is good to go.
Last week, or nearly ten days ago, we crowned our second Mr WVQN Drag King winner, Gabriel Sky and we said goodbye to the current reigning Sonny Marvin. We had 6 contestants and the show was flawless, anyone who went can tell you its the best drag king pageant they have ever seen!
Then this week, we have our first official fundraiser for the 2009 Terry Awards. So, we hope you come out and support the event. That way we can have even a bigger and better show than last years event. This being our fifth annual. No matter what you can throw in the kitty is not important, the only thing is, is the fact you came out and supported the event. There is no cover charge and we have 11 entertainers for your viewing entertainment. Everyone from Mr WVQN Drag King Gabriel Sky to Ms WV Queer News Patricia Knight, and so many others.
