Although I should be in bed as my day starts early I decided that I could not put this to rest or it would haunt me through the day. I am almost certain I may get a backlash or two from some and I am a Christian however I cannot any longer be quiet about the rights of Gay and Lesbian couples. I have researched and observed many couples in my field of work and I do have to say that it does not matter if you are heterosexual or homosexual, love does not have any ethnicity or preference as love is for any individual who embraces there beliefs, thoughts and commitments. Gay and Lesbian is not a disease or Satanic thing and God made all of us in his own image and as Christians we believe that, so we do not have any right to point fingers or become critical of others as God says "Judge and you to Shall Judged."

I respect my Christian Brothers and Sisters and I love the Lord with all of my heart, however I also have some of the most wonderful friends who are Gay and Lesbian and who are married. At first it was hard for me to accept the marital aspect however after having a friend since the 3rd grade who is Lesbian and multiple times tried to commit suicide as she did not understand why she like women, the final conclusion was she could not change her feelings, thoughts or emotions as she was created that way. All are entitled to there rights and regardless of what laws may pass, we are all guilty of rearing our ugly head and arguing our opinions however we should not always try to cast our religion into the situation. We as humans should lead by example and embrace and accept others for who they are , and not be so concerned about what someone is doing in there bedroom. Gay and Lesbian couples should have the same rights as all others and idle gossip is a sin. Instead of talking about what they are doing talk to them and listen as we may end up having a better understanding.We have to work on saving ourselves first ,before we can save other souls.

How can we be Christ like , if we are being hypocritical,judgemental, and listen to idle gossip? We should not judge what we do not understand. How many of us love Ellen and Rosie and our Christians? How many loved Liberace or Rock Hudson and called themselves Christians?

We should be concerned about our communities, and our Country and stop worrying about who should be married or what types of medical insurance should not be offered to Gay and Lesbian couples or if they should marry everyone who is created is created equal and all our entitled to there rights.
