The Mission of West Virginia Queer News, as a non-profit organization, is to be actively involved with the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) community. Our mission includes the families and friends of the GLBT community in order to increase the quality of life for all persons in the community and the society at large by responding to the emotional, psychological, and social needs of our community.
West Virginia Queer News strives to maintain an ongoing, visible, positive, and educational support system, as well as a referral service for the GLBT community of West Virginia and surrounding areas. As such, West Virginia Queer News will engage in any lawful activities necessary to further advance our goals and purposes.
