...an informal social gathering in West Virginia, and all around the area... for gays and their friends looking for a "place to fit" and to gather for food, friendship, entertainment, trips, and whatever...  
 
We are OFF and RUNNING - nearly 150 people strong on our contact list;  both male and female, gays and gay-friendly, singles and couples ...for all ages 18 to 108! ( at this time we have people from ages 21 to 60+)

C.A.P.I.T.A.L. MPower

Mpower is an organization that helps to mobilize young gay/bisexual men (ages 18-31) to form a healthy
community for themselves in Putnam, Kanawha, Boone, and Clay counties in West Virginia .  This is often
achieved by healthy lifestyle choices, positive social interactions, and support for each other.

Those young men who choose to participate in Capital MPower will enjoy various activities.  There are
social events (movie nights, bowling, game nights, trips, etc…), educational programs that help shape
healthier lives for these young men, meetings, and drop-in times to utilize the space.
