Establishment of the Month

Union Square, Charleston's new gay nightlife destination is opening their doors for two days only for a very special Preview Event to benefit WV Pride Pageant Preliminaries. U.S. will host the Miss Union Square Pride Pageant on Saturday, May 2nd (the only bar preliminary in Southern WV) as well as on Sunday, May 3rd with both the Mister Union Square Pride and the only L-Pride Preliminary in the entire state of West Virginia, Mister Union Square Pride M.I..

Union Square is pleased to be donating facility, food, and beverages to these preliminaries with monies raised at the door going to pay the way for talent, outfits, and more for the WV Pride preliminary winners to attend the WV Pride pageant at the Clay Center on May 28th.

U.S. Managing Partner, Jamie Seabolt tells us that "It is great to give everyone a sneak peek a few weeks before we open to the public.  It's a chance to get to know our community and let them know us while helping a great cause.  It is also the perfect way to show what's fact and not fiction".

Admission for each event is a $15 donation at the door.  All in attendance will enjoy complimentary limited open bar, hors d'ouevres, and prizes.

Doors open at 6pm both days with competition beginning at 7pm (if more than 4 contestants), 10pm (if less than 4).  Between the rounds of competition, enjoy music videos on Union Station's plasmas and projectors.

Union Square is located at 703 Fife Street in the heart of Downtown Charleston (located between Capitol and Summers Streets, parallel to Lee and Quarrier Streets).

Be the first to see Union Square weeks before opening to the public! Advance tickets may be bought online through the Union Square Facebook page under "Events".

Jamie reminds everyone that Union Station will not begin operating normal restaurant hours until May 17th and the full-service bar will not being operating regular hours until May 28th.  "This is simply a good cause with a sneak peek to what's to come in a few short weeks. What better way to wet your whistle".
