It is imperative that we as citizens and customers start to take a more active part with regard to the PSC approval of utility rate hikes. Specifically the second rate increase requested by West Virginia American Water. I have posted the contact points and required specifications at http://www.safercharlestonwv.com/ or at www.safercharleston.com . The Kanawha County Commission, Planning & Development Committee can accept email or snail mail. However the PSC must receive either protest letters and or petitions via snail mail. All information at the Safer Charleston website. Lets make sure our voices are heard!
